Christmas Spice Mix
Christmas Spice Mix is a delectable and comforting combination of cinnamon, cloves, ginger, allspice, coriander, cardamom, powdered anise, nutmeg and mace; not only does it taste divine, but the whole house will smell amazingly of Christmas when you cook using this seasonal and flavoursome mix.
My Christmas Spice Mix has rather a lot of different spices, but rest assured, I will give simple alternatives for any recipe which uses this spice. I promise you will still love it and it will still taste very Christmassy!
How can I use this spice?
Christmas Spice Mix is a sweet spice mix and is ideal for use in cakes, dessert and cookies.

How to make Christmas Spice Mix
Collect all your ingredients together:
- cinnamon powder
- ground cloves
- ginger powder
- all spice
- coriander
- cardamom
- powdered anise
- mace
- nutmeg
Now mix it all up:
- Simply measure out all your ingredients into a jar or bowl and mix well.
- Store in an airtight container/jar in a cool dark place for up to 6 months.

Makes 4 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon
Ingredients
- 7½ teaspoons cinnamon powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- ½ teaspoon all spice
- ½ teaspoon coriander
- ½ teaspoon cardamom
- ½ teaspoon powdered anise
- ¼ teaspoon mace
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions

Collect together your equipment (see Recipe Notes below) and ingredients.

Put all your ingredients in the jug or jar and mix well.

Store in an airtight container/jar in a cool dark place for up to 6 months.

How much does this make?
This recipe makes 4 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon. Please note that 1 tablespoon os equivalent to 15ml.
