Baked Camembert with Hot Chilli Honey
Baked Camembert with Hot Chilli Honey is exactly as you would imagine – luscious, rich, creamy, dreamy, hot, baked Camembert drizzled with sweet, seasoned, runny honey with a deliciously warm and spicy kick.
The Hot Chilli Honey takes only around 5 minutes to make (see here for the recipe) and preparing the cheese even less time. Just 20 – 25 minutes hands off time in the oven and you have the most delectable appetiser ready and good to go. The Hot Chilli Honey recipe is from the fabulous Brianna @casualfoodist; she has many wonderful recipes, you should take a look.
Delicious served with chunks of fresh bread or garlic bread, I served mine here with different crackers and some slices of fresh, crispy apple – even at Christmas, you need to make sure you have your 5-a-day!😃
You can serve this as an appetiser, it is a great alternative to a cheeseboard or instead of dessert and it makes a wonderful snack whilst watching a film or sport on the television. We also love it after a long, cold walk or a day on the piste. Mouthwatering, warming, hearty; this is one phenomenally speedy recipe which you will come back to, time and again over the festive season, and indeed throughout winter.
